SKG Engineering offers a complete spectrum of civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering services. We also provide property and ALTA/ACSM land title surveys, topographic and utility surveys, and land development services through the use of state of the art survey equipment and computer aided design systems. The following is a list and description of several engineering and surveying services routinely performed by SKG. Because of our depth of experience, we can accommodate unique engineering and surveying requests that may not be described below.
Lakeside Ranch - Design of a new subdivision including site plan, grading design, surveying, topographical surveying, utility design, platting, staking and erosion and sedimentation control planning.
Paulann Subdivision - Design of a new subdivision including site plan, grading design, surveying, topographical surveying, utility design, platting, staking and erosion and sedimentation control planning.
Water Treatment Plant Improvements - City of Junction, Resident Project Representative for improvements to existing water treatment facility including soil sampling, laboratory analysis and reports for the. SKG has a representative on-site to inspect the progress, complete inspection reports, and coordinate between the funding agency, Texas Water Development Board (TWBD) and the client. TWDB is very involved in the construction process and SKG is prepared for their inspections at any time.
Dissolved Air Filtration Unit for the WWTP- City of Junction, Resident Project Representative for improvements to existing wastewater treatment facility including soil sampling, laboratory analysis, construction material testing and necessary reports for the water treatment facility.
City of San Angelo - Grading, site plan, drainage study, detention pond design and storm sewer piping for drainage improvements at the San Angelo Fairgrounds.
San Angelo Business and Industrial Center - Complete land development services for phase II and phase III including topographic surveys, planning, drainage studies, geotechnical investigation, utility and street design, and a phase I environmental site assessment.
City of San Angelo Parking Lot Projects - Design of two parking lots constructed at existing City Parks to include layout and grading plans, specifications, construction testing and staking.
San Angelo Town Center - Complete land development services for a new multi-tenant shopping center.
Vancourt Auxiliary Field - Geotechnical investigation and feasibility study for rehabilitation of existing runway pavement to accommodate the proposed flight training school for GAFB.
San Angelo Regional Airport - Engineering services for the rehabilitation of Runway 18/36 and the airport apron to include a geotechnical investigation, surveying, environmental compliance, and project administration.
Community Medical Associates, II - Boundary and topographic survey, site utility plan, and grading plan for a medical office building.
San Angelo Community Medical Center - Civil engineering services for expansion of ER department by 7,000 SF and the renovation of the existing 12,000-SF ER department.
Arden Acres - Included removing significant acreage out of the floodplain along a major drainage way in San Angelo. A successful LOMR through FEMA were completed for this segment of the drainage way. The project included the design of box culverts, roads, and site development of the properties adjacent to the drainage way.
Academy Sports - Complete civil site development services for a new store in San Angelo including sewer line design.
Kemp ISD - Topographical survey, grading plan, site utility design, foundation design and structural engineering for a new high school building for Kemp ISD.
Florence ISD - Site layout plan, grading, site utility design, foundation design, structural engineering for school district.
Bangs ISD - Topographical survey, site layout plan, grading, site utility design, geotechnical investigation, foundation design, structural engineering and construction material testing for new buildings at the high school and elementary campus.
Irion County ISD - Boundary and topographic survey, geotechnical investigation and grading plan for school facilities.
Brownwood ISD - Geotechnical investigations for multiple campuses for renovations and additions to existing buildings and construction of new school facilities.
Water Valley ISD - Geotechnical investigation, topographic survey, and on-site sanitary sewage facility design for a new classroom addition. Also, SKG studied existing drainage issues and prepared plans for a new sidewalk and drainage channel.
Johnson City ISD - Civil and structural engineering for a new $8.5-million high school including water and sewer main extensions for the City.
San Saba ISD - Civil and structural engineering for a new high school gymnasium and administration building.
Ross Stewart Soccer Complex - Engineering design services for a six field soccer complex for the Dallas Texans in the City of Farmers Branch.
Rio Concho Sports Complex - Boundary and topographic survey, geotechnical investigation, site utility design, street design, parking lot grading plan, structural engineering for a 12 field baseball complex in San Angelo.
Pike Park Baseball Field - Complete engineering and planning services for a little league baseball field located in the City of Dallas.
San Angelo Regional Airport - Construction inspection services as the resident project representative for the runway 3/27 rehabilitation paving project.
Community Medical Associates - Site development and surveying services for two new medical office buildings.
Permit Application for Compost Facility -Submitted a permit application for a compost facility to TCEQ for D's Recycling.
