The following is a list of some of the engineering projects SKG Engineering has completed.
Goodyear Proving Grounds, Site Plan: SKG Engineering performed the site survey and field investigation to provide an overall utility plan for the facility. The utilities include overhead and subsurface utilities.
Wall Brethren Church Addition: SKG Engineering provided a foundation and a structural design for the addition to Wall Brethren Church in Wall, Texas.
San Jacinto Elementary School: SKG Engineering performed a complete civil package which included a site plan, grading plan, utility plan, and an erosion control work map with details. SKG Engineering also provided a drainage plan that included the design of an extensive storm sewer system. This design included pipe sizing, inlet sizing, and the design of a bubbler outlet.
Lone Star Beef Lagoon Expansion: SKG Engineering increased the volume of Lone Star Beef's wastewater treatment facility.
Cornerstone Christian School: SKG Engineering provided a foundation and a structural design for Cornerstone Christian School in San Angelo, Texas.
Equipment Yard Remediation: SKG Engineering provided environmental consulting services to the client after violations were issued from the TCEQ for leaking oil out of equipment on site and unacceptable disposal practices for sludge waste from wash bays on-site. We performed a waste determination for all sources of waste at the site and directed the excavation activities of areas with haydrocarbon contaminated soils for disposal. We provided the required documentation to TCEQ to address the violations issued and helped the client isnstitute BMPs (Best Management Practices) for the site.
Sonic Drive In: SKG Engineering provided a civil design for a Sonic Drive In facility in Abilene, Texas that included the design of the parking lot, drive lanes, and the retention pond for the 100 year storm event. SKG Engineering also performed a flood plain study and provided an elevation certificate.
San Angelo Stadium Field House: SKG Engineering provided a foundation and a structural design for the Field House at the San Angelo Stadium.
City of San Angelo Fire Stations: SKG Engineering performed the civil work of 2 new fire stations for the City of San Angelo. This would include a site plan, grading plan, utility plan, and erosion control workmap with details. SKG Engineering also provided a design of the detion pond for one of the fire stations.
